Marijuana and Driving Laws

e at Evergreen Culture believe that cannabis is a valuable, safe and mainstream part of our culture. We also believe that responsibility and legality is an essential part of our society, and marijuana is not excused from that equation. We advocate for not driving after consuming marijuana for a period of a few hours. We ourselves maintain this policy in or own lives. Not because we necessarily believe all the information being spoken about how cannabis impacts driving, but because we believe that any impairment should be taken seriously.

Here is a great article from the good folks over at NORML that addresses the realities and facts concerning this debate. It is our desire that policy makers not work on these issues from a place of emotion, misinformation and myth, but rather embrace the science and statistical data that is available on the subject. It is very interesting and we highly recommend reading it all the way through with a mind open to fact and actual data rather than political posturing and pandering.
